Listen to the guys on the social talk about how whack the world music awards are, and we want to hear from the world of hip hop! Stand up Hip Hop, why are you allowing this to happen? This week on the social we congratulated presidential elect Barack Obama, as well as mashed about the Jedi Mind Tricks Show and what exactly went down. We also hit everyone with the Music Pile where one of the submissions was "tricky", but still couldn't put one past the Mixtapebrothers. Bigg Waxx held it down on the turntables, while AJ manned the boards. A ton went down so download the show, it was hot!

This week on "The Social" we will continue our discussion about 1994. Some consider that time the "Golden Era" of Hip Hop. We will see if indeed it was. Also, don't forget about "The Pile of Music" and "Who set Hip Hop".
For years, "The Chapter" has been holding down the Las Vegas Hip Hop scene. From being a feature appearance on Okayplayer's True Note's Vol. 1 to releasing their own albums ( Us vs. Them & The Prewreckwizit), "The Chapter" crew are making a positive contribution to Hip Hop. This week, "The Social" will be taking a look at one of Hip Hop's most controversial elements.....Graffiti. Is it art or vandalism? Once looked at as an alternative to gangs, now society deems it just as bad as those who rob and kill. Is "Buket" (as seen in the video below) as bad as those who make it not safe to walk the streets at night...you be the judge.
